Hello, my name is Roccy DeFrancesco, Jr., and I’m a resident of Benton Harbor, Michigan.
I recently built a house at the end of Jean Klock Park and the view was so beautiful, I put in a few web cams so I could share the view with anyone who wanted to see it.
My background? I grew up locally and graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1988. My mom was a teacher at Dowagiac H.S. and my dad was a local attorney (who for years represented the City of Benton Harbor “back in the day.”).
I have a little bit of an odd background. I’m a commercial pilot who doesn’t fly. I’m an attorney who doesn’t practice law. I founded an educational institute and I spend most of my time educating and mentoring financial planners, insurance agents, CPAs, and attorneys on how to provide the best advice to their clients.
Many in the industry I’m in see me as a Ralph Nader type watchdog. I am an industry insider who doesn’t much care for the way business is done most of the time. To say that most advice is NOT client-focused, would be a dramatic understatement.
I’ve written six educational books (click here to learn about them) and have lectured for many different types of societies (legal, accounting, financial, insurance, medical, funeral home, etc).
I’m an oddity to say the least and I enjoy work more so than anyone should be able to.
My goal with everything I do is to make sure consumers are receiving the best advice from their advisors. Since that doesn’t happen 95% of the time, I’m quite busy doing what I can to make a difference.
This site has been a lot of fun to put up and I hope you and those you forward the site to enjoy the views from the webcams.
I also hope that you are able to take some time to read some of the educational material on the site. I think it will be a real eye opener for most people.
If you have any questions about the webcam, or if you have any questions about the other content of this site, feel free to e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
